Fun Facts About Mason

I would like the power to be able to forget something. For example, I love movies and TV shows, and the experience of watching a show or movie for the first time again would be awesome. It would be great to hear a favorite song like it was the first time or a favorite food at a restaurant.

I have driven from western Nevada to North Carolina twice. Totaling about 44 hours in driving each time, these trips have altered the way I perceive what a "long drive" means. For better or for worse, I can strap in for a long haul much easier now.

I enjoy many types of film. There are a few movies I've seen many times, such as Rocky I - IV. I watch them every holiday season; they are very motivating to me. A summer film I love is the animated film Surf's Up. The soundtrack is great, and I really enjoy surfing; the cast is great; a very underrated film in my opinion. I also love Will Ferrell comedies, Talladega Nights, Step Brothers and The Other Guys are some of my favorites. There are too many great movies out there to pick just one!

Growing up I would have said something like, "I want to go see ancient Rome, or swing swords with the samurai." Now I would limit my travels to sometime after air conditioning was invented. With that in mind, I would like to go back and see some of Muhammad Ali's boxing matches, specifically Ali vs. Frazier.

I have lived in the mountains of Idaho and the plains of Kansas, and I have realized that I am a city person. My wife and I enjoy the hustle and bustle; we connected with cities like New York and Boston. Having an outlet to nature is nice and that's what makes North Carolina a great mix.

"It takes a lot of self-confidence to have a good sense of humor. You can't laugh at yourself until you become at peace with yourself."
