Seminars Frequently Asked Questions
Enrollment is limited and courses fill up quickly, so please register early. We recommend at least two months in advance for courses that include 360-degree surveys – Achievers I, Great Leaders (formerly Achievers II), Advanced Communication, Peak Performance & Complex Lives, and The Leader’s Job. We do accept later registrations if space is available.
All local seminars are held in Chapel Hill, NC, in the heart of the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill campus. The facilities vary for our Regional seminars. Specific information is available within the registration tab. Directions will be emailed to you with your seminar details.
Accommodations – where does Bell Leadership recommend I stay and how far in advance should I make my hotel reservations?
We recommend staying at The Carolina Inn. For reservations, phone (800) 962-8519 and identify yourself as a Bell Leadership participant. You can find additional listing of accommodations under the Your Visit to NC tab. To get the best rate available please make your reservations as far in advance as possible.
The tuition covers all materials, 360-degree surveys if applicable, pre-work, and continental breakfast and lunch on each day. Participants are responsible for their travel arrangements and hotel accommodations.
Approximately eight (8) weeks prior to the seminar you will receive your 360-degree survey instruction email, if applicable. Additional information about the seminar will be emailed to you four (4) weeks prior to the seminar. You will also be invoiced at this time separately. Additional local information will be available at the seminar venue.
Most seminars have pre-work and/or homework assignments. Pre-work will be provided to you in advance of the program via e-mail and specific homework assignments will be given during the seminar.
We encourage couples to attend together and offer 50% off one person’s tuition to all of our seminars in the series. Adult children are welcome.
We will gladly provide full refunds for cancellations and reschedules received up to three weeks prior to the seminar. For cancellations and reschedules less than three weeks prior to the seminar, we will gladly provide a 75% refund. Substitutions can be made up to two weeks prior to the seminar at no charge. Substitutions made after that are subject to a 15% processing charge. Seminars involving testing are subject to different deadlines, restrictions, and processing charges. Testing results will be kept on file for six (6) months from date of administration. Confirmed participants who do not attend are liable for the entire fee and may not be eligible to receive their survey results.
