Dr. Gerald D. Bell Will Present at CMAA 2019 World Conference and Club Business Expo

Dr. Gerald D. Bell, Founder and CEO of Bell Leadership Institute, will present at the 2019 CMAA World Conference and Business Expo in Nashville, TN, with keynote speakers Kirk Herbtreit, Cooper Manning, Colonel Nicole Malachowski, Scott Hamilton and Sara Robb O’Hagan.

Dr. Bell will present “New Discoveries in Leadership” to the 500+ attendees expected to be in the session. Dr. Bell has analyzed the best of current research, studied how over 100,000 of the most effective leaders in the world lead, what are their behavior habits and personality patterns, and researched over 100,000 of the least effective leadership methods and patterns to discover what works, what are the “Best Practices” to build a highly effective organization. He will present his findings, then provide a method to apply the core competencies of the most effective leadership patterns in participants’ own leadership efforts, and within their organization.  Dr. Bell will provide a fast paced, fun, lively, real experienced-based learning about what works and what doesn’t work in leading a club to help to make participants and organizations build effectiveness and success.

The Club Management Association of America (CMAA) is the professional Association for managers of membership clubs. They have close to 6,800 members across all classifications. The objectives of the Association are to promote and advance friendly relations among persons connected with the management of clubs and other associations of similar character; to encourage the education and advancement of members; and to assist club officers and members, through their managers, to secure the utmost in efficient and successful operations. CMAA is headquartered in Alexandria, VA, with 28 staff, 42 affiliated chapters and more than 40 student chapters and colonies.

The 2019 World Conference and Club Business Expo presented by the Club Management Association takes place in Nashville, TN, February 24-28, 2019. The meeting is attended by approximately 2,000 club management professionals from across the country and internationally. It offers robust educational programming with more than 25 hours of education including presentations by nationally recognized member service, business, and brand experts as well as 70 concurrent education sessions and workshops. The Club Business Expo provides attendees an opportunity to interact with many of the major suppliers of club industry products and services.

Registration is still open for the conference, which will be hosted at the Music City Center from February 24-28, 2019.
