Dr. Gerald D. Bell Interviews Leonard Wood at UNC Kenan-Flagler
Dr. Bell interviewed UNC Kenan-Flagler alumnus and preeminent real estate developer Leonard Wood for the MBA real estate program, named after Wood in May 2013. UNC Kenan-Flagler has been a leader in real estate education for 40 years, developing students’ knowledge and technical skills so they can build successful careers in real estate. The Leonard W. Wood Center for Real Estate Studies bridges the worlds of academia and industry for students, faculty, and alumni. Its growth has been accelerated by the vision and leadership of Leonard Wood. The MBA students who attended the interview were given insights into some of Wood’s biggest challenges and opportunities during his illustrious real estate career – from group managing partner for Trammell Crow Residential, to founding of Wood Partners, and his many positions on real estate boards and associations.
