We anticipate touching on the importance of personal effectiveness and leveraging commitment and personality/leadership skills, in addition to technical skills, to increase students’ ability to capture opportunities and solve problems. We’d follow up mid-year with a half-day session to reinforce those concepts. What 1-3 things would be most important for DDS1s to hear or take away within the context of these topics? DDS2For DDS2s, this year, we’d include the same introductory and mid-year sessions as DDS1s. What 1-3 things would be most important for DDS2s to hear or take away within the context of these topics?What skills and content might be most relevant for DDS2s during a second year of implementation? DDS3For DDS3s, this year, we’d include the same introductory session as DDS1s and DDS2s. We would, then, space smaller sessions throughout the year covering key communication topics. What 1-3 things would be most important for DDS3s to hear or take away within the context of communicating effectively?As they close out their year and prior to starting their fourth year, we’d include an immersive two-day experience where students would receive feedback about their personal strengths and weaknesses. The experience would provide them with the opportunity to reflect more deeply on their personal leadership style and offer practical strategies to increase their effectiveness. What 1-3 things would be most important for DDS3s to hear or take away within the context of building their personal leadership? DDS4For DDS4s, this year, we’d include the same introductory experience as DDS1s, DDS2s and DDS3s, as well as similar communication topics to DDS3s. We’d close out the year focusing on strategies to lead effectively while maintaining your peak performance.
