Bill Sanford Facilitates Advanced Achievement Leadership with Students of A.T. Still University’s Missouri School of Dentistry & Oral Health

Bill Sanford led a one-day Advanced Achievement Leadership program with third- and fourth-year students from A.T. Still University’s Missouri School of Dentistry & Oral Health (ATSU-MOSDOH). Students explored the three essential skillsets for both personal and professional success; the best practices and behavior patterns of the world’s most effective leaders; the six main pitfalls that destroy success and happiness; the specific skills most important for them to build and behavior patterns for them to reduce; and practical suggestions for developing new habits and shedding old ones so that they can achieve at their highest level. Participants remarked that the presentation was engaging, included notable examples, and provided a unique opportunity for self-reflection.

ATSU-MOSDOH was established in 2013 in Kirksville, Missouri. ATSU-MOSDOH was founded to address the disparities in oral healthcare in Missouri and across the nation. By graduating dentists who have an in-depth understanding of and a desire to serve populations in need, ATSU-MOSDOH will help increase access to and services for vulnerable populations.
