  1. I can’t access my survey when I click on the link in my original “getting started” email.  I can’t find my survey — did I lose it?

    If you have already clicked on the link and set up an online account, the link in the “getting started” email will be invalid.  Simply log in through our website, www.bellleadership.com, and click on “surveys” in the left toolbar.  Use the ID and password you created to access your survey.

  2. How do I know who has completed the associate survey?  Is there a list?

    In order to maintain our strict confidentiality policy, we do not have a built-in identity tracking mechanism.  There is, however, a list of the email addresses of those who were invited to participate.  In your online account, click “send requests” and go to the associate screen.  Under “online surveys,” select “click here” to see the list.

  3. How do I know that confidentiality is maintained?

    We do not link identities in any way to the data we receive.  The information is processed and presented in a confidential manner.  The Strengths and Weaknesses are randomly sorted into one document.

  4. The deadline has passed.  Can I still complete my survey?

    We always try to accommodate our clients’ needs.  Contact the Testing Manager to see what can be done.

  5. Can I change my responses to an associate or self-evaluation?

    Yes.  Go online and select your associate or self-evaluation before the deadline date to make changes, or contact the Testing Manager for assistance.

  6. How many associates do I need to participate in this survey?  Who should I invite?

    We recommend that eight associates participate.  We do accept more than eight, but no fewer than three evaluations.  We recommend that you invite your boss, supervisors, direct reports, team members, and a spouse or significant other to participate.

  7. Who should I call if I am having a technical problem?

    Contact the Testing Manager, Monday through Friday.  If she is not available, ask for Amy Hagen.

  8. How do I request a paper copy if I don’t have access to the internet?

    We are happy to mail you our self or associate evaluations in booklet form.  Please contact the Testing Manager.

  9. Do I need my own computer and/or email address in order to complete the testing online?

    No.  All you need is access to the internet.  Each participant is assigned a unique survey code that can be used to access the survey from our website, www.bellleadership.com.  This code is in your “getting started” email, or contact the Testing Manager for the code.

  10. How long does it take to complete the survey?

    The time varies from thirty minutes to an hour, depending on your pace.

  11. What if I forget my user name and password?

    We keep a record of user names and passwords.  Contact the Testing Manager and she can give it to you.

  12. My associate(s) did not receive the email invitation.

    Some email accounts, especially personal accounts (AOL, Earthlink, Hotmail), block our email.  We have alternate instructions that we can send you to forward to your associate(s).  Simply let us know when you are having a problem.

  13. For some reason, I was unable to complete the survey and the computer timed out.  Did I lose my data?

    No.  The data will be in our record.  If you used an ID and password, simply go to our website, www.bellleadership.com, and sign in again.  It should pick up where you last saved your responses.  If you do not have an ID and password, contact the Testing Manager for assistance.
